I’m married with two kids and live in the heart of Bristol. For a living I practice the dark arts of marketing, advertising  and  communications. Without blowing my own trumpet too much, I’m pretty good at it having won national awards for my particular speciality – radio ads.

Within this website you will find lots of little marketing nuggets that I’ve picked during the last 25 years spent helping and advising companies and public bodies on all aspects of their marketing and communications.

Currently, I am the marketing manager at Local Pages, a company dedicated to helping small businesses connect with local people in the communities they serve through low cost, affordable, print and online advertising initiatives.

Outside of work I enjoy song writing, performing with my band – “Fools on the Hill,” riding my motorcycle and writing gibberish for no other reason that the fact I love playing with words and our wonderful language.
